Happiness is allowed
But it was never entitled
There ain’t a scale
To weigh emotional suffering
Because some deceive to catch a break
With no follow up questions
Investigation is stalled
Suffocating from the reeking of guilt
What a horrible
Defeating
Life to behold.

Tired of hearing the same old refrain
You’ll never understand
And If I did
Shall I be condemned for not following your path?
Some just stake their destiny
On inferiority
Superiority
Instead of finding a balance
You can let the past overwhelm you
Until you can’t function
I’m not ashamed to let you know.

You can be enslaved by labels
Assumptions
Prejudices
But unless research is thorough
No stones unturned
Your hypothesis will be considered
Flawed
Spotty
You’re entitled to an opinion
But it not’s a fact
If you want me to give you
The benefit of the doubt
Show the same courtesy to all
Or resign yourself
To be an endless victim of the game
They never want to you to master.
