Bless a man who walks not,
Counsel of the sinful;
Rather righteousness sought,
To make them more fruitful.

Stand not with the sinners,
Nor sit with the scoffers;
Rather righteous winners,
What godliness offers.

His delight is the Law,
Meditates day and night;
No longer has a flaw,
Since he walks in the light.

For he is like a tree,
As planted by a stream;
Blossoms to His decree,
Yields fruit that is supreme.

Its leaf will not wither,
All he does will flourish;
Remains green in winter.
That some may call prudish.

The wicked are not so,
Like the chaff in the wind;
Follows as breezes blow,
Having no discipline.

Judgment they will not stand,
Nor sinners in the fold;
They ignore each command,
To what the Lord has told.

For the Lord knows the way,
The righteous do cherish;
For the wicked will stray,
Eventually perish.
