Your Word is settled in Heaven,
Faithfulness endures forever;
To all generations given,
It stands fast and never sever.

By appointment they stand this day,
Because all things are Your servants;
Delight in Your Law and obey,
Or perish in intense fervent.

If Your Law not been a delight,
I would perish in affliction;
For it is giving me insight,
As it avoids my addiction.

I will forget not Your precepts,
By them You have given me life;
Accepting spiritual concepts,
Enabled to avoid the strife.

For I have sought through Your teaching,
Since there’s a wicked lie in wait;
Destruction from evil seeking,
While it is dangling its bait.

I consider Your evidence,
Seeing the end of perfection;
Your commandments the best defense,
To cure immoral infection.
