The eyes of the blind shall open,
The ears of the deaf start to hear;
Allowing their faith to sharpen,
Unto the Lord they will revere.

The lame man shall leap like a deer,
The tongue of the mute raptly sing;
And become righteously sincere,
What the purified waters bring.

Water breaks forth through the wilderness,
Streams start to flow through the desert;
Burning sand feels the tenderness,
A pool from ground springs brings comfort.

The grass becomes rushes and reeds,
As a pathway shall lead you there;
The Hallow Way shall meet your needs,
The unclean shall not pass to share.

It’s for those who walk on the way,
No lion there or starving beast;
Even for fools who won’t go stray,
But the Lord will prepare a feast.

The redeemed shall be walking there,
As the ransomed Lord shall return;
Unto Zion with songs to share,
Obtaining joy that they shall learn.

Eternal joy upon their heads,
They shall obtain joy and gladness;
Sorrow and sighing shall have fled,
The Lord chases away sadness.
