Anything visible is light,
As the dawn rises from the dead;
Christ shining does bring you insight,
Through His Word that you will be fed.

Awake and arise O sleeper,
The light of Christ will shine on you;
To become a promise keeper,
In your seeking what you pursue.

Look carefully on how you walk,
Not as foolish rather as wise;
Making the best on what you talk,
Since evil will be in disguise.

Be not a fool, but understand,
All about the will of the Lord;
His Spirit is a helping hand,
Keeping you in a one accord.

Avoid kinds of debauchery,
And never getting drunk on wine;
Deviant sex or sorcery,
That’s blaspheme against the Divine.

Speak to one another in Psalm,
Make poems and music from your heart;
Keeping humble and remain calm,
The Word of Jesus do impart.

To the Father always give cheers,
Through the name of Lord Jesus Christ;
Ever thankful that it reveres.
Remember what was sacrificed.

Submit unto one another,
Upon Christ out of reverence;
Humbled to sister and brother,
Thankful for your deliverance.
