Having putting away falsehood,
Let each one of you speak the truth;
We are members who understood,
Living a life that’s not uncouth.

You can be angry but sin not,
Let not the sun go down with wrath;
Forgiveness from God to be sought,
Letting anger to cross your path.

Give no chance unto the devil,
Letting that thief no longer steal;
Rather let him impede evil,
Honest labor God would appeal.

For he may have something to share,
In giving to someone in need;
Let no corruption cause despair,
That lets anxiety to breed.

Say what’s good as edifying,
It may give grace to those who hear;
To the soul that’s gratifying,
Unto them look to God and revere.

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit,
By whom you were sealed for that day;
Redemption for wrongful merit,
To confess whenever you stray.

Let all the bitterness and wrath,
With all malice be cast away;
No longer to impede your path,
And listen to Christ to obey.

So be kind and compassionate,
By forgiving one another;
Audacity be departed,
Being in peace with each other.
