Romans 12:2
Many of us feel less than.
Dysfunctional family relationships can drive this.
Because of You, we are accepted and more valuable in the Beloved.
I need to see myself as You see me.
It doesn't matter what the world thinks of me.
You have secured the identity You have given me in You, Lord.
Rejection 101 is the message for today.
I feel rejected when my offers to help are turned down.
Many people have a hard time accepting help.
Most people have trust issues.
You are helping me to experience good, healthy relationships.
Around ninety percent of the population walks around with low self-esteem.
It's the Enemy's plan to keep us alienated from You and one another.
You chose me and You picked me.
Isaiah 53
You Yourself experienced rejection for us, not Yourself.
You were despised and You have died for my sins.
You were oppressed and treated harshly yet You did not answer Your critics.
You took the rejection so that we could be accepted.
You loved us so much that You sent Your Son so that we could be reconciled to You, Holy Spirit.
You, Lord, were our Substitute on that Cross.
You are my Example in servanthood.
Your goal for us is to be accepted in You.
You have paid for my sins.
You paid for the sins of the whole world.
Many people have been so hurt and so rejected that they have walls up.
You were rejected so that we could be accepted.
Isaiah 61:1-3
The Holy Spirit has sent You to heal the brokenhearted.
This is the Acceptable Year because of what You have done on the Cross.
You accept us in Your Son, Jesus Christ.
For You so loved the world that You gave Your Only Begotten Son for all of us.
You have accepted us because of what Jesus Christ has done.
Isaiah 49:14-16
You have selected me.
