See and hear what you want to
As you keep on being driven by fear
Just to survive the day
As the little boy disappears
A mental hide and seek.
To remind you that life is for the living.

Surround yourself with abusers
Who kick you menacingly to the ground
Out of some deluded martyrdom
That you’re incapable of happiness
Strength off the center
Or search out the victims
So you can be deemed the undisputed leader
With this undying yearning to feel superior
Just a coward that suffer fools gladly.

Don’t pretend to have all the answers
Don’t overcompensate under the guise of a saint
If you don’t have anyone to challenge
The irrational beliefs
Then the choices are limited
For I hope there won’t come a day
When everyone has to present a disclaimer
Before they speak
That would be madness indeed.
