My love

As I sit here, I can't help but smile at the thought of you.
I think about everything I have written, the old and new.
I write of my love for you but I want to make sure you know,
These words that I write are true to my heart, not just show.
In reality there are no words that can truly express the love inside,
Even if I wrote a trail of words that could stretch worldwide.

But it's all I can do to show my love when you live far away,
But know in your heart that I mean every word every day.
You know that I love you with all of my heart and soul.
I never want you to doubt that my love isn't whole.
Just keep in mind my dear when you're ready to decide,
My love for you in words will be the same as by your side.
