Submit for the sake of the Lord,
To the human institution;
Let not laws of man be ignored,
As based on your constitution.

Whether a president or a king,
Or to governors under him;
The punishment that they would bring,
Could make your life to become grim.

To punish those of wicked ways,
From the evil that they perform;
Those doing good reward with praise,
Through society to reform.

For this is the will of the Lord,
That by doing good as we should;
Silence the foolish that ignored,
The ignorance of how they stood.

Live life as people who are free,
Not to cover up evil things;
Rather what God wants you to see,
Living for what His goodness brings.

Honor and love the brotherhood,
Revering God and the rulers;
Treating of others as you should,
Not like the deceptive foolers.

Submit with all of your respect,
Not only in doing the good;
Of the unjust do not reject,
Follow directions as you should.

Because this is a gracious thing,
While being mindful of God;
One endures the sorrows to bring,
From anything that is outlawed.

Unjust suffering from sorrow,
That all of us has to endure;
For what credit for tomorrow,
With rewards that God will ensure.

When you sin look for a pardon,
You must endure the suffering;
Soften hearts before they harden,
Reach out to Christ for buffering.

He bore our sins on the tree,
For we are like sheep gone astray;
As a shepherd to oversee,
That we do not satanic prey.
