Let's clear it all and start from a fresh base.
Heat is pushing to do it's job. Drips from the
kitchen water faucet. Ticks of the minute
hand on the wall clock. Sounds so common
I take them for granted. The sun is out but it is
only an illusion of warmth. The sub-zero air tells
another story. Just as these lines of mine tell
taller tales other than what they really are. I know
a man who is like that.
